Update Required Plugins – Starter Templates

When importing Starter Templates, you might see a popup that says, “Update Plugin.”

This article explains why this happens and how you can fix it.

Why Do You See This Notice?

Starter Templates are built with some awesome plugins. You might get this notice if you have these plugins installed but they’re not updated to the latest versions.

For example, if you are importing a template built with Elementor and you have an outdated version of Elementor, the popup will appear.

How To Solve This?

Login to your WordPress dashboard, go to Dashboard Updates and update all required plugins to their latest versions.

You can also update each plugin one by one, under Plugins > Installed Plugins.

What If I Skip This Step?

Skipping this step can lead to errors or issues with the imported template. The problems will depend on which plugin is outdated.

For instance, if the imported template uses a new Elementor widget that’s not available in older versions, you might see an error or missing content. Pages using this widget will look different because of the outdated plugin.

That’s all. If you’re still facing this error, feel free to open a support ticket below. Our support team is always here to help!
